Will Brooks is exhibiting pieces in this show that will reflect his personal views, "...interest in the spiritual side of the human experience and is heavily influenced by the ideas of the Oneida, Taoist texts, and the “Art of Peace.” Will uses various media to create his visual compositions including paper, inks, acrylics, watercolor, graphite, color pencils, resins, and varnishes. He strives for each piece to be a visual adventure-a unique journey with insights to discover along the way. Within the decade, Will sees himself as a major player in 21st Century American Art impacting the art world with his own unique vision.
Will also remains active in his community by contributing time and pieces of his art to local non-profit organizations for fund-raising purposes. In 2006 he organized a silent auction/art show benefiting Camp Hope (a summer camp for children with HIV/AIDS supported by AIDS Foundation Houston).
